Anyone else becoming as obsessed w/ ufo's as i am?

Ya know, I am becoming kind of obsessed. In the past I was very afraid of them due to my Stephen King like, wild imagination. Now that I am older, more rational, I am so interested in them, fascinated really. My DVR is full of UFO shows I've taped. I am constantly learning new things about them that are so interesting. Not to mention keeping my eyes to the sky. Never know when you'll see one...... :)

There are some.
Obsession is usually a sign that something is not quite like you'd like it. It often indicates that something scares you and you are transferring this fear onto something (an object, a habit...).

So far, there are no real signs that UFOs have caused any serious problem to us. In fact, it is very likely that real UFOs (carrying beings from other planets and so on) do not really exist (in our neighbourhood).

Distances in the universe are 'astronomical'. Why anyone would travel tens or even hundreds of years to see us would then leave without saying hello (except to a few people who nobody else believes).

Great stuff for movies; not so credible for real life.

Serindipity has a good idea. Keep looking. Learn to recognize what you see in the sky (so that the unidentified becomes identified, then known).

There are millions of astronomers looking at the sky. Very few of them report unidentified objects and, when they do, these are eventually recognised as things that are not UFOs).

Either your knowledge of the sky would calm your fears or... you'll be the one to bring proof that UFOs really exist.

When I was a kid I had two experiences. The one I remember was; me and my childhood friend were sleeping over at my house and a VERY bright light was shining in through the window of the dining room right next to us. Being the older one I bravely went to take a look. The light was so bright that everythiing was white but it didn't hurt my eyes. As I entered the room the light zipped off across the yard. The other time (so my mom tells me) was that a "red ball" was hovering over our house and I got up due to the commotion the adults were making I rememberd all throughout the house was glowing red but I thought it was a dream until I asked her about it.
But I'm not obessed with them. If they're out there they would make it known if they want to until then, whatever.

As a 15 year old, yes I am obsessed with ufos sir....Maybe you already saw some vid..please take time to read..

Im not talking about unidentified objects like kite or etc. Im referring to UFO's from other planets of another galaxy/civilization that are capable of traveling here on earth using technology that is way more advance that we could imagine.

The bible didn’t mention if there's life out there or none because the Bible is mostly about our relationship with each other and with our faith with God. So there’s a gazillion possibility that there’s life out there, hence the planets in the universe are more than the grains of sand here on earth.

Actually, I call them IFO's now. [alien space-craft] because they are now identified and some of them had crashed on earth and they had been here around 1940's since they were 1st spotted but government & military cover-up is still present claiming UFOs as to be weather balloons or etc.

NOW THATS STUPID. do you think the government can just deny it easily and tell the public that nothing is up there? with millions of people that actually saw it, took pictures and etc?..

And yea, don’t forget Feb 24,1942. Remember the 1942 Los Angeles attack?.. Military officials fired at UFO's, it was like a fleetof UFOs . The military claimed it to be UFO's at first. then the next day, it was published in the newspaper that it was a weather balloon.???.Over 1400 rounds of shell cant drop that weather balloon. FTW.. get outta here.:)

Btw, in Nov. 16 1974, The Arecibo message is a radio message that was beamed into space at a ceremony to mark the remodeling of the Arecibo radio telescope. It was aimed at the globular star cluster M13 some 25,000 light years away because it was a large and close collection of stars that was available in the sky at the time and place of the ceremony.
