the fruit bitter melon or bitter gourd (thus the name), which really doesn't look anything like a melon. it's a very popular fruit here in the Philippines (called Amapalaya) and can be stir-fried with beef and oyster sauce.

This ekiy ugly shade of green,the word sour,bor, figs and a whole lot of pickles and meebos, if you know what that is mmmmmmmm yum!!!! ( Sorry, about that I sometimes turn blonde while being a brunette, I'm confused!?)
