Well at least it is more Christmassy than the caravans a lot of them are being forced to live in. My heart does go out to all those whose homes were flooded though it must be terrible to have your possessions ruined and your comfortable home not there anymore. I know possessions can be replaced but it is still a devestating experience. At least they all have something to look forward to next year - getting their home back.

Whip ~ It certainly brings you back to reality with a bump!(No Pun Intended) It make me grateful for what i have, and i must say that i had forgot about what those flood victims would be doing at christmas time. Why have'nt the local council/goverment rehoused the temporarily????
EDIT: Excuse the grammer - too near lunch time!!!

Yeah, makes you stop and think when we're all tucked up in our own cosy houses, tree and decorations up etc etc there are still all those poor people in camped out in tiny caravans. They had a family on GMTV yesterday from Gloucestershire and they said one of the things they missed most being cooped up in a caravan was just sprawling out on a sofa.

It was really a Christmas story for sure.Inspite of her family's misfortune she still remained optimistic and still has a sense of humour..She is appreciative of what she has now and is looking forward to the future.I think she will be all right because she has such a good attitude. It's too bad she couldn't wrap it up and share it with others.who really aren't thankful for anything. Thanks for sharing the story.Merry Cristmas.
