Social issues depend on a person's ability to socialize and how a person a person goes through life. Moral issues are people and their ability of responsibility and respect for themselves and others.

Social And Moral Issues

A dictionary definition puts them as more or less synonymous which is how they tend to be used. In my experience people who are religious tend to talk about morals and people who are being philosophical / academic tend to talk about ethics. I tend to think of ethics as more of an intellectual debate over right and wrong where people haven't yet found universal agreement. e.g. I woud class questions like stem cell research, abortion, gay marriage etc as ethical issues, the righness or wrongness is still up for debate and although individuals can be very polarised on the subject society as a whole is not unified on the subject. Issues of right and wrong that all or the vast majority of people are decided on or which are ingrained into the social conscience that have been agreed upon for a long time are moral issues for example: theft, murder, adultery, lying, giving to charity, This is an interesting question if you do a little resaearch you will find loads of people have different ideas of what the words mean based on thier experiences of what context they hear the words used. The dictionaries that I consulted tend to use the words almost interchangeably.

Social issues are issues that concern ever one, such as environment, corruption, etc.

Morel issues are, how you feel o react to them., and do something about them. TAKING BRIVES ARE A SIN, BUT GIVING THEM IS A BIGGER SIN. SO IS THROWING GARBAGE ON THE STREETS, INSTEAD OF THE GARBAGE BOXES. No matter what anyone else does, or doesn't, you do what is right according to your soul.

You could do your share in cleaning up the social issues, are your morals concern about the social issues that are around you, do you do something about it? "One step for man, a giant step for mankind"! I don't think the man was just taking about his first step on the moon.
