Are you walking toe to heel?? If not, then there is no answer - - -
Otherwise - the 56 steps works. (or a little less if you have a 12 1/2).

If you want to be more accurate than this - Take a string and a 12" ruler. Wrap the string around the ruler 30 times and then 6 more inches. Cut the string - you have 60 feet 6 inches.

Want some advice - ask for a measuring tape for Christmas. :o)

I have size 12 and with my shoes on my foot is about a foot long. So toe to heel that would be sixty and a half steps. If your striding it out just take your average stride lengths and divide it into 60 feet six inches.

I wear size 12 shoes and was playing at a field once where someone forgot a measuring tape. I assumed my shoes were 12 inches and measured the bases. Lucky for us, the mound was set, because we ended up running 95 ft. bases. (-:

60 steps will get you close enough, I also have a size 12. I hope that you do not have a size 12 adn a half because that does ot exist...at 12 shoes sizes go up in whole numbers.

Well, a size 12 shoe is about 13 inches so if you do the math
1.08 (Length in feet of your foot) times (?) = 60.6

The answer is 56.02 steps, so I'd say 56 steps

If you're talking standard walking paces, I've always had luck with 20. On step is roughly 3 feet, 3x20=60 feet.

Don't know for sure, but I think that if it is measured using Shaquile's shoes it is going to be alot smaller than if it is measured using So Taguchi's.
