Heikki. He's a good driver and he's got a professional attitude. That kind of attitude he has will be valueable to any team, in terms of driving and PR. I don't think it's wise of Renault to let him go, so I hope he gets the seat there. McLaren has a competitive car; hopefully he gets it and achieves success/race wins.

I want Pedro de la Rosa to get the 2nd seat. Only because I am worried about my team's financial resources next season. The Spanish sponsers would most likely withdraw if PDLR is not appointed.
I REFUSE to believe in all the crap being said about McLaren's 2008 car. I strongly believe the engineers at McLaren will make a good car but then again a good driver like Heikki Kovalainen is needed to bring in those yummy constructor points.
I am in no way worried about Lewis. He is unbeatable. Kimi won only because Ferrari told Massa to give way in Brazil. So simple. Kimi is a paper tiger and I am not worried.
While PDLR may seem like a good choice given the financial situation, he is only an average driver who will NEVER be able to exploit the car and it's capabilities like Lewis does and thus maybe hurt McLaren in the Constructors championships.
Massa is a fool and is already crying about the loss of TC and so I expect him to make a lot of mistakes in each circuit costing Ferrari valuable points!
So, I am just hoping for the best solution for my team and it is such a "tight" decision in a troubled time.

It's almost certain now that the 2nd McLaren seat will be given to Dela Rosa.
Heikki Kovalainen can't find a seat so far after he was sacked of Renault.
Nico Rosberg decided to stay with Williams, which is quite a strange option for me. The young German prefers to be no1 driver for a silly team better than being number two at a top team.

Of all the current available drivers, I would like to see Tonio fill that seat. I saw some behind the scenes stuff on redbull and STR, they don't get much exposure because they aren't really one of the top teams right now but i got the impression that the Italian, along with DC and Webbo, was able to give some good input and feedback to help develop the car. That is exactly what they need to partner up with the young Brit. But, being realistic, they will probably go with Pedro in order to cut costs and satisfy their Spanish sponsors.

Kovy. I like the guy, he's always chirpy and grinning but he also is good enough to drive for Macca. Save Pedro as your reserve driver to help with development and put Heikki there instead. With a good car I'm sure he'd be able to run fast, real fast.

Heikki would be a great #2 driver. I wish Ron would give Scott Speed a shot!
