This is a very good question that's difficult to answer without going in depth of physiology and history. I'd say no due to the face being every country have and will commit some type of war crime to gather important intelligence that will drastically improve their situation in a war effort. Yet at the same time just about every country have committed some type of "war crime" when their was no war. Look at it this way, someone you care about is very ill and about to die in about a hour. Information just came in that the person who have the instant cure have been captured but refused to tell where it is. What do you do ask nicely and hope you get a positive response in enough time or torture that person into giving you the answer in 5 minutes?

The day Human Rights Watch start telling the truth, then that will be the day that lives in infamy.

If you're not a Brit, you shouldn't be reading the BBC as you don't realize the tabloid journalism that is behind it. It's typical liberal hogwash.

5 Star what does it have to do with George Bush? It is Egyptian problem, coz they want to extend their emergency power to be able to gag their political opponent. They just fabricated this, come on, G. Bush is not the only one who has a criminal mind. Ok, let's put it this way, G. Bush is the big guy. Who does the smaller guys look up to? You are correct, the big guy!

No, Mubarek has been at this for years. When the US began throwing its own terror suspects into Egyptian black hole prisons, CIA and US military interrogators certainly picked up some tips from the Egyptians.
