Economic Problems , if given adequate importance, India needs a corruption free Govt.; which is absent in this country.India needs drinking water to all; eradication of illiteracy; eliminate casteism; health care to all....even in remote areas; abolition of practice of so called "Indian democracy,which is sham"; must have a good system of policing and legal system.Other development and growth will follow automatically.
India needs Dictatorship (by Army).Indians are fit for civilised Democracy at all.

the reason why i say pollution because India and China are two developing countries, that in the next decade and you can already see it today, it will be competing the USA in the amount of oil consumption. And we all know what inefficient energy consumption and practices can do to the environment, so it's concern should be looking to use clean and renewable energy that is not harmful to the environment, and its necessary to prepare now so India doesn't have a dependency on oil like the USA in its future.

Any Government under normal circumstances should provide besides security for life basic amenities like food,water and dwelling place. Now days terrorism and environment pollution have become major agenda for any government. To be effectively provide these to its citizens, the rulers should be of persons of morally upright and dedicated persons not corrupt and criminals like what we have.

First Priority should be to eliminate corruption at all levels at every place and stop Vote Bank Politics. All other priorities will automatically be taken care of by present Government Policies themselves.
