Can someone please recommend a website I can go to so that I can find out what species it is and if its poisoness because it has just laid two batches of eggs in my garden and if the spider is poisoness, I have to get rid of the eggs.

It may be easier to approach the question by where you live. For instance, a brown recluse probably wouldn't be found in Watertown, NY.

Most brown spiders do have venom. Most of them have venom that's not dangerous to people. If you live in the US, the brown recluse is about the only brown spider that's dangerous to people. Look for a violin shape on it's back. If it doesn't have this marking, and you live in the US, then it's most likely safe. (Most often, a brown recluse will build it's nest/web behind or under something for seclusion.)

You don't say which Country you are in - edit your question.
If you are in the UK, it is probably a harmless garden spider - the female a big, fat and brown with a white pattern on their backs. They can give you a nip if frightened but aren't poisonous.

Could be a wolf spider or any number of harmless spiders. Brown Recluse are seldom larger than a nickle, legs included. They don't build webs, sorry Kurt.
