Air and water are the most valuable things on earth...

Reason:
1. In all other planets it is not present in the optimum amount suitable for life to exist.

2. Ofcourse life is important and valuable too. But the starting point of life comes from the existence of these air and water.

Because people are so different nowadays, it's really hard to settle on one answer, but here are "most valuable things" for different people:

FAITH -- I can't say God, because God's not a thing. For many people though, the most valuable thing they possess is their faith. Early Christians were persecuted and killed for it. Until now, many are persecuted for whatever they believe, and yet they hold on to it.

MONEY -- The great moolah is the most valuable thing for a lot of people nowadays. They kill for it. They die for it. They cheat for it. They work hard for it. Either way, some people think that the goal of life is to be rich and to live the rich life. This also comes in other forms -- cars, jewelries, big houses, gadgets..

LOVE -- Be it for a girl or a boy or your family or friend. They say it makes the world go round. People go through heaven and hell just to achieve it, hold on to it... Even if it's painful, some people even think that it's better to love even though it will remain unrequited.

POWER/RESPECT -- We all live within a group or a society... For some people, being above the rest of the people is more important than anything else. Think...Mafia. Gangs. Some kids join gangs just so they can receive respect and power over their surroundings.

SELF-RESPECT -- Everyone wants to accomplish something. We know that life's short. We want to make the most out of it by living it the way we want to live it, how we'd want others to remember us by.

LIFE and TIME -- Because it's so short, it's so valuable.

Personally, I think the most important is LOVE -- love for your God, your partner, your family, yourself. It can move mountains, inspire faith, produce respect, and make the most out of one's life by giving it meaning and purpose.

Physically speaking - oxygen.
Without it we cannot live.

Personally speaking - Love.
If we cannot love, then what for we live. Whether it is food, relationships or anything other thing.

Materiallly speaking - Electricity.
In the present day we cannot think of living without electricity.

Philosphically speaking - courage.
Without courage we cannot face even small adversities of life.

Spiritually speaking - Bliss of the life

Water!

The most unappreciated element on earth. Without it we have nothing, no life, no food, no love, without it not even the sun is any good.
