Ron Paul doesn't know about the middle east???????
Maybe you should look at the versailles treaty and understand the middle east yourself. I still have no arguments from anti- paulites. Please note specifically what you don't like.

Well unfortunately no one could make a valid argument against him here.

EDIT: domination_in_08, when did he say there was never an attack on Pearl Harbor or the World Trade Center.. it's not him that's the problem, you need to get your hearing checked.

CIA? He does NOT want to abolish this, he is for intelligence gathering.. there are many different intelligence agencies.. he wants to end bureaucracy and consolidate

WE INVADED A COUNTRY UNDER FALSE PRETENSES AND AL QUEDA (SP) DIDN'T EVEN EXIST PRIOR TO OUR INVASION.. IRAQ IS NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF A RELIGIOUS CIVIL WAR, THE US CANNOT RESOLVE THAT CONFLICT

HOW MANY MORE YEARS, LIVES AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS NEED TO BE SPENT UNTIL WE "WIN"

EDIT: Don't Know and others, what makes him a racist? Are you referring to the comments that weren't even made by him but by a fired staff member?

The only comments that have been made by Congressman Paul regarding race are the ones on his congressional website which appear to be opposing racism

well i guess I'll be the first to really answer your question. the man at first sounds like a reasonable person with some of his views of small government and such. the real big problem i have is that he is a lunatic. i heard him at the debates and he was a madman. he believes that there was never an imminent attack against the U.S. so what was pearl harbor and 9/11? he advocates getting rid of the CIA because intelligence they gather is worthless. I'm sorry but not all of the Intel they receive is wrong but very valuable. Another reason is his foreign policy. he wants us to pull out of every place we are because that is the root of hatred towards American. really? You wouldn't think that our culture, lifestyles and religion have something to do with it. Pulling out of the ME will not stifle the hate many people have for us but will instead reaffirm that the U.S. will not stand by its promises and the precedent they have is Vietnam. We must stay in Iraq and finish getting that government stable and strong and be the first domino that topples all of the islamo-facist states that rule in the ME by showing the people there democracy.

EDIT: jessicaisbeautiful, you obviously didn't read what i wrote carefully. During one of the first debates he clearly said that there has never been an imminent attack on the U.S. All of the candidates picked up on the quickly and specifically attacked his view point for believing we were never attacked that way. as for the CIA, he clearly says he will get rid of that and the FBI and put "Intelligence people in charge of intel"

Ron Paul, as said by several other patriotic Americans here, is the best and brightest hope to turn our country around, turn our funds and attention to our own borders and people, and keep our government in check.

He is by far the best candidate on all the most crucial issues facing us today.

The best part is that even if someone doesn't share his view on something, his ideal limited government wouldn't likely infringe on that person's choice anyway.

---------------

To my misinformed friend Ronnie Pole - If you are going to make statements such as you did please quote a source or an incident to back it up. In my mind simply making such misguided statements makes you more of a racist than Ron Paul could ever be.

To "Don't Know" below him (at least you are honest in your screen name). How are your claims RP is a racist and your claim he supports hemp related? Any "true" conservative would not want taxpayer dollars wasted on prosecuting marijuana laws, but if you are actually talking about hemp being used for clothing & paper, then you're even more off base to criticize him for that.

I watch the debate and all I can remember is bring our troops home....bring our troops home .....bring our troops home ...I a supporter of the war in Iraq and until the job is done we need to stay and police their government to make sure that we don't have a tyrant in office over there...if we leave we might as well get ready in 10-15 years send our kids back to mop up what we didn't finish

He is the only candidate running.

If anybody votes for anyone else we should institute an IQ test for voting.

That will solve the NEO-CON problem.

Danny B - Even if we do put a "Stable" Government in there they will be our enemy in 10-15 years unless we change our foreign policy.

Yeah I'm really glad that Ron Paul's running. Most people I think freak out because he says he wants to get rid of virtually every government program. That'll never happen. What would happen would be Dr. No, vetoing every spending bill the Dem's sent his way, us out of Iraq, and maybe a greater degree of freedom.

Ron Paul is great and actually believe in the constitution..

Even Ron said, if he doesn't win, at least he's getting his message out.

Vote Ron Paul.

He's great on Iraq, but I think he'd like to privatize everything, like public schools, get rid of social security, and I haven't heard his ideas on healthcare, but I imagine it's not any kind of national health care where the govt. could negotiate lower prices for care for patients that are publicly insured.
