On a Dragstar site that is a good question!!!
Try looking on Hondas own site they have a second hand section and while you are looking all over you will get a guide for the prices being asked.

Yamaha Rules OK!

I don't really know how much is fair it depends on mileage, condition, extras. Figure if a 2008 is $9600.00 a 5 year old is worth at least 10 percent less per year with probably closer to 20 percent for the first year it is a sportsbike. So that's about 960$ X 6 = 5760$ subtracted from 9600$ is 3840$. Now you can use this as a base if it's really cherry and well maintained and they can prove it add 1000$ if the mileage is low less than 15,000 add 500$ more. So on and so forth this should help you get to a ball park figure be sure to look for evidence that it's been wrecked or laid down or thrashed by a hot dog. Old guys and wimps are the best to buy from because they've usually scared themselves and want rid of it. Don't buy a bike that wasn't kept garaged or indoors. Now go out there and bargain walk away if you have to and remember cash is king when the hundreds come out people start dealing.

simply put.. ebay. i have had all my bikes from ebay and got them cheaper than possible from any dealer. if you pay cash on collection you wont get scammed either, if the bikes not as it should be dont hand the money over.

ps. i agree with the guy above, yamaha rules.
