I think you are trolling for a flame, my friend. But I'll try to give an intelligent answer. America is considered by some as the entire continent consisting of south, central and north America. For others, it is the United States of America.
Then we come into the domain of semantic and political correctness. What should we say?
Scots don't like to be called Englishmen. Basques don't like to be called Spaniards. Do e.g. Argentinians like to be called Americans?
When in doubt, use the full name. It is called the United States of America and it is called The People's Republic of China and Holland is called The Netherlands. Learn about geography but also learn about the people. We are all citizens of the world but we have so many ethnic differences that geography without history is only half the story.
Did you know e.g. that in the middle-age, for a short time, there was a Jewish kingdom in France called Septimania?
Geography and history are fascinating!

Not hard to find...

Drive north until you see old farmer Brandley's oak tree. You know the one i'm talking about... It's got the big broken branch from the termites.

Once you get there you will see a dirt road that cuts off to the left. Follow this road for 30 minutes and then take a right at hickory dickory drive.

After a few hours you'll hit I-75. Follow this north to exit 55. America is across the street from Wild Water Adventures.

Me too might sometimes feel that way.

It seems you might find america in every country on earth coz they like to think they have to be there.

The continent of america is somewhere between 45 deg W and 90 deg W, and 50 deg S and 80 deg N. It's size is less than the continent of Asia.
