Do you want actual odds?
I would say, the chances are very good.
The odds that we have figured out some certainty about the "meaning of life" is absurd. Because it literally could be anything. And included in that category of "anything" is the possibility that there is no meaning.
Although, the fact that billions of humans, even before global interaction, developed some form of religion, and that many religions have pervading features throughout, may indicate some "meaning to it all"...
or it might just indicate how similar humans really are.
Anyways, the answer to your question is: Very Good.

Given the results of our most recent survey on the situation i can honestly report that as things stand,
There is a 4 percent chance with Democrats.
A 13 percent chance for Republicans...
And a 2 percent chance for Independents
with about 81 percent of our population not voting.
These results have an accuracy of +/- 4 percent.
Six survey respondents votes were thrown out for
making rude comments about the subject of the
survey.

We are more than likely an insignificant parasite, festering on a tiny speck in the vast universe. This speck is earth.
