Lets assume:

1. We have the Ability to travel freely to this planet, much as we were able to sail from Europe to America.

2. That the new world has something we want...like water.

3. That this lifeform that inhabits this world isnt advanced enough to defend its own planet.


If we assume the above, then yes either by disease or outright aggression, I think we would justify almost any action to dominate the aboriginal culture. I doubt the above conditions could be met.

Maybe they'll beat us to it and will come take our planet from us. ;)

It depends on who is more advanced and greedy than the other. That's impossible to know while we still don't even know of other life in the universe.

Since this is not likely to happen in any of our lifetimes, I am not inclined to worry about it.
