I just wanted to know why does it seem like all black men care about is big butts? Black women come in all shapes and sizes but I noticed that the girls with the "fatties" aka big butts, get more attention or thats in every "black" man's critera for the ideal black woman?! I don't think its right that we come down on "white people" because they portray the ideal beauty as skinny but black people say that black girls HAVE to have a big butt. SO what am I supposed to do, get butt implants or date only "non-black" men? I am not the only non-booty having girl who feels this way. There are alot of petite girls that feel the same way. And yes I go to a black college so I know first hand how hurtful it feels to be told "YOU NEED A BIG BUTT" by numerous guys. Even though, they say I have a pretty face its just not enough.
I need explanations for why guys think like that.

im black with no butt either. u need to be lookin for a man who loves u for u not cuz u do or don't have a big butt. All the videos on MTV show big butts and that is so wrong. i would look for a good smart guy since u are in college. U deserve better than the guys or comments that are around u. hang in there and keep ur chin up

i only date black men and i have dated a few that dont HAVE to have a big butt, i mean i guess i have a big butt for a white girl but i have had guys cheat on me with tiny girls with no butt or boobs, so girl i think you just need to find the right guy. Im sure your beautiful and your butt size does not matter!!

Well, white men can be just as bad when they say they want a skinny girl with big boobs. Considering I'm the opposite to that and am still happily married, I'd say there is still hope for you yet.

nah. dont worry about what you hear people saying about this issue. all you know is that you are who you are and shaped the way you're shaped. if they guy likes you he wont care how big or small your butt is, bcz he already likes you. and besides, guys like different things anyway. not all of them want big butts, i've heard some guys say they prefer big breasts vs butts. or prefer intelligence or sense of humor.

It is strange. I have an average size butt which black men don't like but white men adore.
I think it's a tribal thing. My friend said I should have butt implants.

because of all the video hoochies men see on tv..guys become influenced to think thats "HOT"..that a black girl has to have a big butt.NOT all black men are like this..look for a black guy tha tdoesnt listen to rap and isnt into all those video hoochies on rap videos lol maybe a white washed black guy or a guy into rock instead!

I think the general concensus is that fat black women look sexier than fat white women... that is merely an opinion.

I think big butts are attractive at all. You don't see Tyra or Naomi getting on the runway with big butts. You're lucky to be slender.
