Hi,we Got married on 25th Nov in Hyderbad, Andhra Pradesh. How do I get a marriage certificate? I need details on how to register our marriage. I mean which application form to fill and where to submit, what documents necessary, etc. can any body help. Thanks

What you need is a form to be filled up stating the fact as to when both of you got married....take the help of an advocate.the court will issue a notice for 30 days , giving enough time to anyone who wishes to challenge the same.Normally, the lawyers hardly allow this notice to be displayed in the Notice Board so that the client doesn't feel embarrassed.this notice remain valid for at least 3 months. On a suitable day, just go to the court along with your lawyer who will arrange two more witnesses in addition to himself.He may ask you to arrange your witnesses yourself.Do so accordingly.on the appointed day the lawyer will take you before the Magistrate First Class, responsible for Registration.
You sign, he signs, the witnesses sign in presence of the Magistrate.
Within half an hour , thereafter, you get the Marriage Certificate.

Go to the marriage registrar office in Hyderabad, show them the proof that you are married. Take two witnesses also. It is not difficult to get the certificate, contact them immediately.

you should have been married in your home state first/good luck/just get married again in your home state it will be alot easier
