i am 23 weeks pregnant and my baby is a pound and half is this normal.. at almost 6 months.

ok if you are 23 weeks pregnant your baby now weighs a little over one pound/ 500 grams and measures about 11.4 inches/ 29 centimetres from crown to heel. He/she hearing is well established and he/she can make out a distorted version of your voice, the beating of your heart and your stomach rumblings. Loud noises often heard in utero, such as the barking of a dog next door or the roar of a vacuum cleaner, probably won't bother your child when he/she hears them outside the womb. good luck

i wouldn't panic about baby's weight, the doctors get the baby's weight wrong all the time. i have had this happen to me twice by 2 different doctors. first one told me why 3rd child was 7lb why i was in labor, she was born 9lb 8oz. the second time i was told by scan and measurements that my baby was 6lb 6oz a few days later he was born and he weighed 8lb 5oz, baby puts on the most weight in the last month of pregnancy.
