My Avatar is unshaven and has a day’s growth of stubble, which mirrors my own shaving habits.
When I use to work on the farm back home, I didn't bother to shave frequently, which was due to me over sleeping in the morning, and thus not having time; 'morning milking was more important than shaving' so my Dad said. Also during busy times of the year, like harvest or calving time, I often didn't see anyone - apart from family members, for weeks at a time, so I didn't bother to shave. I just normally went around with three days growth of stubble on my face, and still do; even now I live in a city.
