Is it possible to draw three planes that do not intersect?
Or two lines that aren't on the same plane?

Isn't the paper I'm doing the homework a plane, so it's impossible?

yes; it is possible

If the planes are parallel to each other then they don't intersect.

There can also be two or more lines on different planes which do not intersect each other. These lines are called skew lines.

Well you can't literally draw them, but you can represent them on a two-dimensional page.

You have the x-axis to the right, the z-axis pointing up and the y-axis coming 'towards' you, by drawing it at 45 degrees below the horizontal, in the negative x-direction. If you look into the corner of a room or box, the lines will sort of look like that.

If you connect (0,2,0) to (2,2,0) and then (2,0,0), you will see a square on the z=0 plane.

Similar planes at z=1 and z=3 will never intersect that plane.

It's called three dimensional geometry - look it up :)

The only planes which do not intersect each other are parallel planes.
also two lines which are not on a same plane never intersect each other.

The answers to both your questions are possible in three dimensions.

Three parallel planes will not intersect.
Two skew lines cannot be contained in one plane.

A line can pass intersect one, 2, or 3 coordinate planes. that's impossible for it to intersect none. As examples take the line that passes via the factor P(a million,2,3). L1(t) = + t L2(t) = + t L3(t) = + t the place parameter t ranges over the real numbers L1 intersects one airplane, L2 intersects 2 planes and L3 intersects 3 planes.

Yes it is possible if (1) They are parallel to each other or (2) If they are skew planes.

The only way to do this is on three seperate sheets of paper or another way is if you can draw in 3D

Like above... if they are parallel.

Or if they are in different universes.
