Well me and my boyfriend are planning to have a baby and we are kinda debating on boy and girl names. . . . .we have already decided on a few but he has other ideas. . . . I will NOT name my baby boy after him because his name is Carlos and I absolute recent that name lol for 2 reasons>1 both his dad and my dad's name is Carlos and 2 its too common. He likes his middle name Ruben but he also likes Jiovanni and I dont. . . Oh yea and my name is Katiria so how about the names we first came up with below. . . . . . . I will also accept suggestions as well. . . . . . Thanx. . . . we r puertorican if u needed to kno and we want 2 middle names plzzz

It is my opinion that you should choose a family name of someone to whom you want to show respect.
A great grand father or mother or a great uncle or aunt. Maybe someone that the family looks up to as the family patriarch or matriarch.
Biblical names are a good alternative.

name him after some great personality or great person or brave person or woman. it will have a very positive impact on him.i suggest you go into the history and find some good name.
