once i saw a photo of the three seas, separate in one photo. i'd like to know where exactly i can see three separate seas. or are there different locations? i had this vague impression that it's a particular spot but i've search yahoo, i can't seem to find anything solid. would appreciate if someone can explain this to me. thanks! Actually, it has always been said that there are 7 seas in the world. So I am not quite sure what you are asking about.

Although seamen of long ago are popularly known to have stated "I've sailed the seven seas," there really wasn't a good definition of those seas. However, today, the seven seas are the North Atlantic, South Atlantic, North Pacific, South Pacific, Indian, Antarctic, and Arctic Oceans.

The photo is taken at Capoliveri on the Island of Elba in Italy. http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?tt=url&trurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.elba-capoliveri.net%2F&lp=it_en&.intl=us&fr=ks-ans
