the father has gone over 2 years without seeing them, calling them been in a whole new state. Doesnt call family to see where tey are or if they can be reached. doesnt send a note nothing. I was wondering if i could file for this. I am sole provider and take care off them just fine. Will he still have to pay child support in washington state? If any one knows anything please email

If you have not filed on him for child support then by all means do so now. In TX you file through the states atty generals office. Might be the same there. If you know where he is tell them, if not give them all the info you have. Good luck.

Abandonment is not a crime, but it can be grounds for divirce if you're married.

Yes, wherever he has gone he's still liable for child support.
