I think mine was that god was not real, at least the way Christians portray him. I don't know if that was the greatest thing, but it was certainly the most influential.

I learned to truly feel and think and believe what was inside me instead of thinking what others taught and expected me to think and feel.

Eventually this lead me to a decision that I should quit doing drugs.

I think while being under the influence its not a good time to come to a solid conclusion on the the existence of God. For obvious reasons...your not all there....Although its funny you say that, from what I know the guy who invented acid used it to get closer to god!
The greatest thing I learned was not to do them again!
(that was years later and seeing the negative effect drugs did to the people around me and myself)

we was out in the woods on acid n ran out of beer. I was chosen to go get more. I rode my bike to the country store when it really started to hit me. It felt like every hair on my head came to life and I could feel it strong. I lost track of time. It was neat and scary at the same time. What I really learned was similar to ur experience. I came out with a whole different outlook on life and god! Hope I helped! And star for a cool question!!!!

I did not gain any personal or spiritual insight, but I did learn to know when I'm under the influence of a drug so that I can determine between reality and fantasy.

That there are worlds within worlds. That nature is absolutely beautiful. That cats and dogs are our friends.
And my friend found out that it's not good for your eyes to stare at the sun, even though you are part of it!
I also found out that you can be so open minded that you can have not mind left at all!
