I am pregnant and i cant help it i get hungry often but when i eat i eat smaller meals then before i was pregnant. Before i was pregnant i had to shop in the plus size section. earlier this evening my fiance and i were target buying me pants since none of mine fit anymore. we ate at a restaurant before we went to the store. none of the clothes i liked so then we went to walmart and i didn't like any of those they made me look bigger than i am so finally we went to Meijer. and i found pants i asked him to help me find my size (mind you they were stretch and i got 2 sizes bigger so i can wear them for awhile) and his reply was "DAMN YOUR GETTING BIG AS A HOUSE AND YOUR ONLY HOW FAR ALONG?" i grabbed the pants threw them in the cart and ran away from him bc i was embarrassed. in the car thou i blew up when he asked me what was wrong. I told him not to say another damn word to me and to take me home. all the way home i wanted to punch him in his face for not understanding why i was mad

OMG I'm so SORRY! I can't believe why guys are like that sometimes...was very bad what he say...but just remember...is a reason why guys don't have the bless to have a baby in they body...I'm sure you feel bad,guys are so dumb sometimes and they always be,but be happy your baby need you relax,just try to ignored him maybe he is a little nervous and he don't know how to react,when I was pregnant my husband can't understand why I always want some donuts hahahahahaha!can you believe that,he say to me "Why you always want donuts" freak! well now is funny but I did punch him in the face LOL hope you feel better and he change a little bit and help you more...and tell him that "you are pregnant,not fat"

That was really mean of him but honestly he probably meant no harm in it. Some guys actually think its joking to say such things, yeah I know guys are crazy lol. It would also make me mad if my bf said that to me, men have no idea what its like to carry another human in them! So I guess that's why they say rude things like that. I hope you are feeling better and don't ever feel down about getting bigger with pregnancy, you can worry about getting back to your regular size after the baby comes out healthy =) I wish you all the best with the rest of your pregnancie, and all the best when the baby is born.

Awww, how insensitive was that??? Some men (not all guys) just don't understand how a small comment (in their mind) can have such a harsh and cruel context and can really be taken in a misconstrued manner. That was an awful comment to make, especially when you are in a very vulnerable state. Feel free to say the same thing later when he gains weight from sympathy pregnancy!

That certainly is not right to you. I would have just went home and went in my bedroom and shut the door and when he was ready to apologize he could come in and apologize to me. Thats definately not right. If he did not know what was wrong or want to apologize and he did know what was wrong. Then I would let him sleep on the floor. A couple days of sleeping on the floor and you not talking to him etc would work. Its ok to get bigger when your pregnant everyone does. Just think in a little while you will have a baby. The reason your getting bigger is so the baby can grow more so think about that. He does not get to experience it in his body either. So you get the pleasure of doing that.

I am 39 weeks pregnant now and have been getting comments like that for a while now.... Honestly sometimes it bothers me, and sometimes it doesn't!! I suppose it depends on my mood.... although if my husband said I was as big as a house, I would have snapped!! He probably didn't mean any harm.... men just don't know what to say.... If you want to be mad, then be mad!! This is YOUR time!!!!

That was mean but maybe he didnt mean it, my husband does this to me just picking and I really do feel fat sometimes I am five months and still only 145 pounds if that. He just does not see that it really gets to me I am so sorry though that was really mean and if I had been you the scene in the store would have been a WHOLE lot worse than what you did you handled yourself well.

I get it all the time I was 135ibs before I was pregnant and now im huge and can hardly fit into a size 16 well everyone thinks its license to say im fat and that im not having a 50 pound kid well tell them to shove it everytime someone says that I say hey whats your excuse?

Pregnant women have license to get however big they need to get so long as they're healthy (and so is the baby). And to call a pregnant woman fat is just silly.
Are you sure he wasn't just messing with you? I mean, I can understand him trying to joke with you and letting it get out of control. Still, bad timing, mate. Bad timing, indeed.

Hell yea I would have been pissed. If men only knew what we had to go through to have children! And I dont see how you didnt cry cause I know when I was pregnant I cried about everything!
