Vegas is AMAZING... There are tons of things that you can do. Shopping (best in the world), shows, gambling, drinking, fine dinning (every famous chief as a restaurant there), just walking the strip is fun. Vegas is way close to the Grand Canyon too you could go there. Hoover Damn (sounds lame but is fun). Oh and roller coasters, i dunno even know how many there are in that town, but they are all great. Places to go: Bellagio, Caesar Place, New York New York, Paris, and Mandalay Bay. Those are by far the best casinos. Stay away from cheap food. It is cheap for a reason. The buffet in the bigger casinos are better then cost between 30-40 bucks but are worth the money. Oh and bring good shoes cause you will be walking around a lot. Oh and the Wynn is great too.

My City has way more than gambling. We have museums. We have Broadway shows. We have entertainers like comediains and singers. We have great dining from buffets to nice steak houses to Wolfgang Puck restaurants. We have discount malls. We have fantastic indoor malls.
There is NYNY with a fantastic rollercoaster. There is Stratosphere with ride 101 stories up. There is Circus Circus Adventure Dome with rides like rollercoasters and even a paintball-like event (can't think of name).
There is a movie theatre on The Strip by MGM. There is Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. There are helicopter rides over the Strip, around the Valley, and even over to Grand Canyon AZ.
We have churches and bowling alleys and movie theatres. We have athletic clubs. Weather permitting we have Mt. Charleston and skiing or you are a close drive to UT for skiing. You name it and we have what most cities have.
Go to www.lasvegas.com and/or www.vegas.com and you will find hordes of things outside of gaming.

We did a brilliant family individuals wedding ceremony returned in 1990... and yet another massive BBQ social gathering in 2010 whilst we renewed our vows for our twentieth anniversary. i'm in simple terms no longer prepared on Las Vegas... i don't have fun with crowds.

You will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.
