in the second episode, they were tlaking about the name of a demon you shouldnt say or try to figure out because to do so means you want to confront it. the main guy in the show said, it was the church or the vatican who told him about it. what do you guys think? does the church have ghostbusters in real life?

I saw the show.
No the Catholic church does not have ghostbusters. They do have priests that are trained to perform the rite of exorcism. I have provided a link for you below.

I saw the show. I havent quite made up my mind about it yet.. I will give it a couple of weeks and decide if they are on the level or not.
As far as the demon stuff...The church used to deal with that sorta stuff, seems long ago they believed in evil beings. I dont understand why they would change since Satan still holds the crown of hell. I mean if they want you to believe in Heaven how then can they rule out hell? I have heard of people getting "special" help with things of that nature. I know they bless homes, I had to have it done about 15 years ago, and well... it didnt help much so I moved.
I will say this much .. if he lied about church ghostbusters I am sure someone will raise hell about it.. no pun intended.

I did watch it. I really don't want to judge it quite yet, I'll give it a couple more weeks. And the Catholic church does have priests that can bless homes/perform exorcisms. I've heard that it takes years to "verify" that there is a problem for them to come out to help.

Was it "Bloody Mary" or "Candy Man"? How about Beetlejuice?

I can't believe they can take themselves seriously after saying stuff like that.
