Let me address some comments:
1) Homosexuality is natural and occurs readily in nature. I will leave it to you to find out why it confers selection advantages.
2) I was shocked to discover that same sex marriages occurred in the middle ages - for the stated purposes of dividing property.
3) I was also shocked to remember that Jesus was against marriage for his 'true followers'.
4) Although haters of same sex marriage will say it promotes bestiality and incest, the fact is that the evidence says that heterosexual marriage leads to these things quite well, thank you.
5) I did not get a divorce because my same sex neighbors got married. Truly.

There are few facts, mostly opinions and the opinionated.
But I'll tell you something, it is a fact that marriage did not die in MA after same-sex marriage was made legal.

Well, everything against and in favor of same sex marriages are just opinions. Some people say it isn't "natural", others say it is against their religion. Basically any reason any one will give you will just be an opinion. My opinion is it isn't my life to make the decision. Everyone has the right to choose what is best for them and their life.
If anyone has any "facts" I would love to see them. I simply never have seen anything but opinions on this matter.

ok... nicely gay marriage is generally no longer legalized as a results of congressman's faith. See, in our shape, it says that we are entitled to Freedom of religion. And in that, we can choose for which faith to coach... or to no longer prepare one in any respect. some, yet no longer all, gays, lesbians, and bisexuals do no longer prepare a faith. additionally, in our shape, it says that we are entitled to existence, LIBERTY, and the pursuit of HAPPINESS. If the same intercourse makes us chuffed, then why don't you! yet another excuse is as a results of the fact, we are all people, all of us sense love. whether this is with the same intercourse or the different intercourse, it would not surely rely! In some states a law still exists that mandates that you cannot put your donkey in your bathtub...Literally. According to that law, everyone who sports an *** should shower. Same sex marriages will come to be like inter racial relationships. Who cares? In a 1000 years we'll all be tall and tanned. Except, I hear the world will end in 2012, December 21st. I guess I watch too many educational channels.

The arguments against same sex marriage are nothing more than thinly disguised homophobic rants. One is that being gay is a choice, therefore if society puts its stamp of approval on homosexuality by allowing gay marriage, more people will choose to be gay. Another "reason" is that if marriage is no longer the exclusive domain of heterosexuals, the institution of marriage will somehow be demeaned and threatened.

If you are looking for a fact...
then how about this...
Organisms have a natural built-in self-defense mechanism...called the need for survival.
In order for an organism to survive it must reproduce...so the species can carry forward.
In human beings...the only way that is possible 'naturally' is through a man and a woman (fact).
No species lives so its entire race destroys itself (well some argue human beings do). It lives with then notion that it will bear off-springs...and wallah..there you have it,...the idea of marriage between a man and woman.
and therefore It makes sense that religion mirrors what is found in nature...Would we think a otherwise?
It is better to have one standard of marriage than many...why?
Because then people will want to get married to donkeys, monkeys, a dead carcases...There will be no end.

there is only ONE THING WRONG with a same sex marriage: it will never result in an offspring. So if everyone married a person of the same gender, the world as we know it would END in about 100 years. God said in the Bible:"BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY". A gay marriage would be a violation of that commandment.

morally, absolutely nothing. if two people love each other and want to be joined in unison for the rest of their lives, well good more power to them. the only problem i have with it, and it's a stupid one i'll admit, as a semantic one. a marriage is a union between a man and a woman. not between a woman and a woman or a man and a man. two men can't be married because one of the is not a woman. to me calling a man and a man married is like calling a tulip a rose: sure they're both flower's but they're not the same thing. an easy solution to this would be to alter the definition of marriage, or better yet (at least i think so) to come up with a new word to represent the union of two people of the same gender. sorry i know you didn't want my opinion but i tried to use as much facts as possible :)

It all depends on your definition of marriage. Is it a state concept? A religious union? A matter of utmost privacy? A public institution? I don't think you can get anything but opinions.
