Be a pessimist. When the bad things happen you expect 'em and aren't overset. And when good things happen you get to be really overjoyed! It's those optimists who get into trouble. Always expecting the good stuff so when life slap 'em down they are in deep trouble.

I learned a long time ago that life will always disappoint in one way or another, so I try to not let it bother me by putting my mind on the things in my life that are positive. Or saying "At least this or that could have happened..it could have been worse" etc.

I try to stay positive and upbeat, even when all around the world is going to hell in a handbasket. I call it Positive Mental Attitude, or PMA for short. Take a look at any given situation you find yourself stuck in and find that one positive thing you can focus on, then find another, and another ... before you know it, there are more positives than negatives and you have successfully used PMA. Try it, PMA really does work & once you get a hang of it, life becomes easier to deal with.

I actually make a list of the things that I am grateful for, (i know it sounds really OPRAH) but I have been doing it for a couple of months and I sit down at night and make a list of three to five things that I am grateful for, and I find that life doesn't disappoint so much.
Oh god I am sounding like Oprah.....*sigh*
okay
my list last night
1) my beloved
2) snow
3) Kindergarten Teachers (I am subing and working in Kindergarten)
4) Dinner at home
5) the steering committee
and some times sister buk you are on my gratitude list too.
Be well for me and oprah

I am so sorry if you are going through hard times and disappointments. God is there for you, He is your great comforter. Just lean on Him completely, He never disappoints. This is why we put our full trust in Him and not other people.

Begin anew. Make resolutions. Start over. Get off the floor. Get something positive done and last but not least, stay off the computer so much. :)

i stop dreaming or excepting anything from life. i have learnt from experiance that life is like ur younger brother/sister, the more u get annoyed/cry/give importance to its problems the more ikt will bother you and will try to annoy you. once u stop caring and expecting things from it ull see how things will come ur way. this always works for me , being positive, thinking good things and all keeps me motivated and happy but i dont see the results i want.

Focus on what you can learn from the situation to better yourself, and tell yourself that things will get better. Or watch a funny movie while cuddling with a cute cat.

depending on the degree,if really bad,I cry,go numb, and fall apart, there right now:(,a right of passage.
the positive will happen in time,as I come to accept what's beyond my control and my powerlessness over the situation.
life is full of disappointments, they often don't pay rent on my headspace,so i evict them asap.trying self talk, friends who let me vent, write it down and let it go.

Talk to a friend or family member for some good advice, because a problem shared is a problem halved.
Merry Christmas to you and Buk btw.
:) ♥
