Well, I guess. I'm living without war now, because surely you aren't referring to our current invasion as a war.

In fact, no armed conflict has ever affected me. Had my father been killed in WWII I would never have been born, but that happened before I was born, so I wouldn't have known.

Of course, I was alive during Vietnam, but I totally missed that. I never watch the news and no one I knew went; well, I lie. No one I knew after high school went, everyone got a student deferment or joined the Coast Guard or something,

Two boys I knew from high school went to Vietnam. One won a Silver Star and the other died.

Let's face it; the economy's not good, which is supposed to accompany a war, nothing is rationed, there's no draft, and if one can count and name the dead everyday, it is not a war. 2,500 men a day died in WWII following D Day; that was a war.

So, again, yes, I can live without war; I'm doing it now.

This is perhaps every mans dream. However It's said that this is our very nature. "WAR" I could live without war. However will this day truly ever happen? Man has been the creator of conflict upon conflict from the start of time...unfortunately I believe till the day we die.

Nevertheless, I sincerely wish we could live without war.

It is easier to live without wars than to live without peace.

Unless more people, especially of influence in their environment, find peace and contentment within themselves there will be wars.
Wars are manifestation/reflexion of inner turmoil and dis-contentment into the out side world.

Yes I could,...only there are so many idiots who ca'nt.
And no I don't think people should try and pass off war as a human fault coz it is'nt...by doing that we're just making out that humans are filthier animals than they already appear...
War is not a human fault.War is just being cruel to other innocent people that will(most probably) get hurt.
Is'nt it just better to live with peace?

yes cause there would always be a inner struggle for the sublime once we come accept the outer grays of reality. as long as we don't project this outter gray we can live happier. i faith that one day that peace can be reached. and a level of concience acceptance is more then certain, look at the lottery the odds are against you, but the idea of peace 1 way. it will take hard work and great sacrifice to reach this dream though.

Ancient Europeans wrote about Ages of Man.

There are also many other references to various
types of world ages or Ages of Man in Hopi
(worlds), Mayan (suns) and other cultures of
antiquity. Giorgio de Santillana, the former
professsor of the history of science, mentions
approximately thirty ancient cultures that
believed in the concept of a series of ages and
the rise and fall of history, with alternating
Dark and Golden Ages.

More details of these Ages are available in the
Yuga concept of the Hindus. The present age
is known as Kali Yuga (age of darkness).

There were no wars during Golden Age. Wars are
inevitable in Iron Age.

Sure. Can you live without fighting with family or loved ones? Of course. That's how humans are made to be. We chose the other way, we choose to fight.

Your question makes me want to ask, can we live without art? No, we can not!
