Please give me step by stepon how to solve these two problems, thank yooouuu!! >_<

-Write the equation in standard form with integer coefficients:

1) x+3y-4=0

2)2x-3y-14=0

3y = - x - 4
y = (-1/3) x - 4/3

Question 2
3y = 2x - 14
y = (2/3)x - 14/3

Standard form: Ax + By = C, where A, B, and C are integers, and A is positive.

These, all you have to do is move the number part over to the other side of the equation.

x + 3y - 4 = 0
x + 3y = 4

2x - 3y - 14 = 0
2x - 3y = 14

Simple as that. Hope that helps!

we normally write polynomials this way:

(1) x + 3y = 4

(2) 2x - 3y = 14

with the constants (that is the #s) on the other side of the equal sign.
