Listen, I love watching basketball and I do so every night. Thing is, alot of what I see doesn't impress me. The dunks and amazing cross overs never really impress me. On the contrary, i'm always impressed by fade aways and finger rolls, it's just me. So, that being said, which basketball player really, really Impresses you. I like Kobe because of his fade away, Jordan did impress me, Vince carter impresses me every now and then, dwyane wade does sometimes, but which out of all players really, really impresses/impressed you?

Chris Paul
He is very skilled and has a great feel for the game and flow of offense and defense. It's fun to watch him get his team mates into the game. Real leader for his team.
Tim Duncan
He is incredible on defense. On offense he has so many moves bank shot, up and under, post--up hook shot, drop step, jab step and so many more. I love it when he "baits" rookies and then blows by them.
Richard 'Rip' Hamilton
He moves constantly all over the court to lose his defender. He can get the ball after a curl and let it go for 2 points. He is fun to watch in a "follow the bouncing ball" sort of way. If you watch a Detroit Pistons game don't watch the ball on offense. Watch Rip zip all over the place.
Manu Ginobili
He definitely sees the court in ways that others do not. He can find team mates anywhere and do some incredible passes. He gets hammered when he goes to the basket but it doesn't stop him. He keeps going to the hole. His dunks are exciting because they're so improbable. I hope that he has a chiropractor on call. He isn't a starter for the Spurs but he is most definitely a finisher. He makes things happen.

As a team the big three for the Spurs, Duncan, Ginobilli, and Parker are just too great to compare, but there are many great individual players in the NBA who impress, such as Wade and Nash, both of whom are very key players, bt still set up their team.
Overall, however, I have to go with Duncan as the best player currently, on the courts. He is not going to drop 38 pts on the other team, and he certainly isn't the fastest player or best jumper on the court. But he consistently put out double digit points and rebound games and often double digit assist. Anyone who can give you a triple double night is the foundation of a team. Manu and Tony can run all over the court but Tim Duncan, is by far the best overall player consistently in the NBA

Manu Ginobili really impresses me. He routinely takes a physical beating by the opposing team, but he comes through with 30+ points per game. Parker, Duncan, Finley. Bowen.... the whole team impresses me. When it comes to scoring this team really delivers. I am wholeheartedly pulling for the Spurs to win their back-to-back Championship they so want... and DESERVE. There are many younger ball clubs and players out there, but this club has chemistry and teamwork. Each time they get a player transfered to their team from another team, that player is ALWAYS impressed with the Spurs work ethics, sportsmanship, and professionalism - that's all I hear when the new guy is being interviewed. That goes to show you what an awesome team they are. That's my 2 cents worth.
Oh... and I love Steve Nash too (wink) - he's a cutie and a great player. Hugs to you Steve.

Right now Deron Williams is impressive. He has the step back jumper and can cut to the basket for a good finger roll, and on a fast break he can throw it down.
Rip Hamilton has to be one of my favorites tho, just because he is always getting numbers. He scores night in and night out. Gets some assists in, and really knows how to move around with and without the ball. Overall a smart player.

Lebron is very impressive when he get's in the zone so is D. Wade. Kobe's killer instinct. But the most impressive players to me are the quick ones such as Iverson and Tony Parker you can't stop that.

Jason Kidd. With his size, he rebounds like a PF/C. Have excellent pin point passing and making everyone looks great. Also not to mention the triple doubles! I do have to admit his shooting is not great but his D really puts the opposition off. That's what impresses me: an all round player.

Steve Nash.....the way he can contort his body, making crazy to impossible layups and shots or making unbelievable passes. Nobody can move his body like Nash. He can also score points like turning on a switch. His first goal is to setup his teammates and just be a playmaker. But if it is an off night for the other Suns stars, he can score points at will. Unbelievable player. Definitely deserving of the 2 MVPs that he won. Just sad/disappointed/upset that my team, the Mavericks did not re-sign him when they had the opportunity. We would have won a championship by now in Dallas if we had kept him.
