well, I'm sure she has alot on her mind, when health is involved one tends to forgive the petty things, just be attentive and express how family is number one for you and your friend by being supportive.

I think your friend may just be busy taking care of and worrying about her mother. Only 2 days have gone by not 2 weeks so don't jump to any conclusions yet. What I would suggest is making the time. I know that you are busy at school, but if you were in her shoes I am sure you would desire your close friends to sacrifice some time to offer a shoulder to cry on and a sympathetic ear.

Make the time to go and see her and her mom and apologize in person. After that continue to follow up on her mom's condition as well as how your friend is doing during this rough time. You can't get back yesterday but you can always change your tomorrows!

She could also just be too preoccupied with the stress of her mom having cancer to think about replying to text messages. Texts would be the LAST thing on my mind at that point.

Just go visit her. Apologies will mean nothing, actions only will be able to speak.

She is probably just to preoccupied with what's happening to her mom but you should at least try and talk to your friend in person, not just text her. She is probably really scared for her mom and she needs all the support she can get right now. Show her that you care and be there for her when she needs you to be.

If your mother was dying and your friends were too busy to come support you, how would you feel?
