Didn't he know we're more prone to stupidity?
On a serious note, why is it that when Republicans appoint women to certain jobs we always have to hold our breath and hope they don't have a "I don't know what was the Cuban Missile Crisis" moment? Do they do it on purpose?

It is an embarrassment to the nation that our President is so willing to appoint ignorant incompetents purely on the basis of their loyalty, but I don't think her hair color has a whit to do with it.

It's probably because she genuinely doesn't know anything about the Cuban Missile Crisis. This is an administration that does not value education or history but prizes loyalty above everything else. She no doubt got put into her position because she was a crony or her family was. She didn't get it because she was the most qualified candidate for the job.

It is certainly possible that these women are not qualified and are set up for failure, in an effort to prove that women can't handle the job. I think that all these jobs are important, and need a very qualified appointee. It seems odd that someone would essentially give up the right to have that job done well, just to prove a stupid point. Interesting thought.

Are you really a blonde, or just a Brunette with pretensions? Seriously though, do you really think that George W. Bush 'thought' about His choice? It could well have been a first!

I always thought she was more qualified than I am to do the job, but lately I doubt it . . .

Who else suspects she got the job because she was slightly qualified and very pretty?

You must really not think much of your own kind. Dana Perino might be remembered as just as smart as Dee Dee Myers.
