I've heard around gaming circle's that some games coming out for both the 360 and PS3 are being held up due to the PS3's more complicated structure. I have even heard that some games are already completed for the 360 but the PS3 versions are far behind. I can't find any independent confirmation outside of fellow 360 gamers. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, alot of these game are like that, NFS:ProStreet was done on the 360 1 month b4 PS3, so was GTA IV(not release yet, since Rockstar did not agree to release the 360 version first.)

And Assasins Creed, PS3 sometimes holds the release date, even though of its complex structure, it is that Sony are just slackers, they are delaying msot games.

One game that got released b4 PS3 was the new "The Orange Box" by Valve which is a great game, Sony always pays contracts to release both versions on the same date, and so does the game production company, so it wont be sold more on the Xbox 360.

I can't confirm this, but I do know that games made for the PS3 aren't as easy to develop because of the PS3's more advanced technology.

To me, I think that it can be both good and bad because developers are learning how to work with a more advanced system, but on the down side it just takes longer for PS3 games to come out, but it's fine with me.

I've heard that the Xbox 360 version of GTA 4 was already completed for the 360, and Rockstar wanted to add some online content for the game or something else so they delayed the game. But I know that they delayed the release most likely because the PS3 version wasn't completed yet. Also, I know that there is a contract where GTA 4 for the 360 and PS3 must come out on the same day.

I wouldn't say that multiplatform games for the PS3 are far behind in development when compared to the 360's development, maybe just one step behind the 360 version, but not far behind. I think that it's just fair that the 360 version of a game is pushed back as well if the PS3 version takes longer to develop.

Yes it is.Mainly due to companies not knowing how to utilize the PS3 properly. So far if a game comes out on both the 360 and the PS3 the 360 version's been the better one due to load times (the PS3's drive reads very slowly). That's the reason the PS3 Stranglehold was delayed for so long and why GTA4 got pushed back ..

I not sure , but I have heard the same thing, it could be true because the difficulties of building games on the ps3. I think that true when you look at assassins creed locking up only on the ps3 version, bad load times because of the blue ray drive, poor graphics issues and all the rest,, am sure they are trying to work more of the bugs out of some games or at least trying to...
