while i was watching it .. i understood everything.. like music wise

Yeah, I think so. I loved this movie, but I love music in general. Playing it, Singing it or just listening to it. So I think you have a point there.

I am not a music fanatic, but I saw the movie and liked it, though I really couldn't relate all that much.

No, I think most musicians understand the hard work it takes to get to the top and think films like this minimizes their efforts.
