As a snake rescue gal...i have to say i love snakes....they are graceful...beautiful...and they all have their own lil quirks...they can range from very small to VERY VERY large....it depends on the species...but they all are creatures that should be admired not harmed...i love all snakes...even the venomous ones...snakes have character...and they have feelings too..although alot of people don't think so...they know when they are mistreated and when someone finally shows them love and fixes all their boo boo's and makes it all better...ok maybe they might not.......but it makes me feel better thinking they do :)
Happy slithering ;)

Amazingly gorgeous animals- completely unique.
I'm facinated by snakes, and would love to be able to see tham in their natural habitat. Unfortunately there's not much chance of that any time soon, since i'm a thirteen year old who lives in the center of staffordshire...
I own two corn snakes, and each of them have very unique personalitys, ones much shyer than the other, but is also much more curious whereas the other is much calmer.
I really like the idea of the danger around snakes- i know that, if your sensible, it isn't that big a problem.
My faveorite snake is the black mamba- they're absolutely gorgeous, and unbeleivably dangerous ;)

I used to work at a pet store where I spent a good deal of time with the snakes and other animals. Whenever I cleaned the ball python cage, I would take out all of the snakes and let them play on me while I cleaned. I had some that curled up around my neck or arms, some that liked to play in my hair, and one that liked to wrap itself around my wrist like a bracelet. I loved my snakes and can't wait to get one as a pet. I have a forty gallon breeder tank that I'm working on transforming into a terrarium for either a ball python or a red tailed boa. I'm so excited!!

I've always liked snakes and thought they were very cool and beautiful. On Wednesday I will be receiving my first snake as a pet. I bought a hatchling Okeetee Corn Snake. He'll be about two to three months old. I can't wait! *happy dance*
I've held two ball pythons, two boa constrictors, one corn snake, and one rosy boa, all hatchlings or very young (I work at a pet store). The boa constrictors were my favorites but they get too large for a single person to handle safely. Plus it would be very expensive to house and feed them. Decided on the corn snake due to it's good personality, size, and the many color choices available.

I love snakes (the venomous snakes not so much)! I own 8 snakes. 4 corn snakes, 1 ball python, 1 Columbian red tail boa, 1 Western hognose snake and 1 Sinaloan milk snake. They are not for everybody, but I love them.

I find them fascinating and like to hold them. The only time I get a little nervous is when I'm around a very large snake or a venomous one.

they're such lovely pets... they need daily clean water but only eat about once a week up to once every two weeks. no disturbing sound, long lifespan, no fur... suitable for small space. what a cool exotic pet. pls ensure that we keep only the non-venomous ones.
