As you can probably already tell, I'm looking for something good on gas and looks good. Which one of these would you pick and why?

Mini
Pros - Customizable to the very last detail and close to 30 mpg
Cons - Minimal trunk and rear seat space

Camry
Pros - Looks modern and stylish and around 34 mpg
Cons - Not as personal as the Mini

As far as the small space in the Mini goes, I'm looking into the new Mini Cooper S Clubman they have coming out, which is a little bit bigger than the original. It has two back doors, a driver and passenger door, and on the passenger side, another door that only opens when the passenger door is open to let people in the backseat. Supposed to have a much more comfortable rear seat and more trunk space.

As for the Camry, your obviously getting the name of Toyota. My dad has a 91 Camry with 314k miles on it.

This is not a decision I am making now but sometime in the near future. Any input is helpful.

First you need to ask yourself why you need the storage space. The rear seats on the Mini fold down, leaving a large storage area. If you plan to always haul passengers, then the Clubman would be a good choice.

BTW: The engine is actually a Peugeot/BMW effort, and by all accounts, is quite reliable.

It's easily as reliable as anything made by Toyota. Toyota is not a magical name for reliability, I see a lot of broken ones on the side of the road. Never seen a busted Mini (or BMW) next to the road, and I live in an area with a lot of them.

what's clean is that she has no concept in any respect of what she needs in a automobile. The Camry is nearly a unfavourable guy's Lexus, with great manners and dependability yet no Zappp! The 'Cooper is a severe priced automobile in insurance because of the fact that is on steroids and a loss of life capture in an twist of fate. The Acura is an overpriced Honda, and an orphan, besides. If she does not watch her miles like a hawk, she ought to blow an engine from no longer changing the timing belt and land up with an extremely high priced doorstop. until now she might desire to even inspect a automobile (i assume she has fairly good bread), she might desire to examine the "client comments" magazines for all of final twelve months so she would be ready to come to a decision the place the line between "want" and "choose" is for her--good now she's scattered in each and every single place to the factor the place her odds of growing to be a unfavourable decision are very severe. sluggish 'ol' Mustang Sally down.

For the same amount of money I would go with and Audi A3..Factory 0-60 in 6.7 seconds and mpg around 38 on highway. Great compromise between power and economy. The mini is not so much fun on long trips and the Camry is a little boring.

wtf, how the hell am i gonna explain which one is better, they have nothing in common to begin with. maybe only the gas mileage!!!
mini is cool but you will get tired of it, plus it having a bmw engine it will break down and if it did it will cost u a fortune.
camry is a good car
i drive one, an 07, very spacious good gas mileage, amazing ride comfort, i just love it.
i think people of a greater life style will choose camry because the take everything into consideration.
camry was designed by business mans not drivers so its to fit a porpuse not to be only driven.
