cristine: uh I have siblings. Actually I had them when I was born. *rolls eyes*

And being unmarried, does not mean I can't father children (assuming that's what you actually meant). Thanks for one of the worst Yahoo Answers of all time.

No benefit. Whadda you, gay? Men who marry live longer, tend to be more successful, and ensure the continuation of their genetic make-up. I predict your offspring will be well lubricated turds.

Marriage for you alone has no benefit but I'm sure after you got old and no time to have siblings, you'll regret. Time will not be backed. Hence, you will getting older everyday as times goes. You know what will happen to you when reaching the time to retire, ABSOLUTELY you need someone younger bones to hold you, assist you for whatever you wanna do? This is because you have no effort to carry yourself again as your old aged. Who would accompany you in your house if you have no son or daughter who also have no kids? In other words, if you do not have grandschildren to play with you when you got old? Who would play with you to divert the loneliness? Maybe your shadows, or waiting for your ghosts!!

That's the time you must change your opinion to get married as early as possible. if you afraid not to handle a family? Be patient and have respect to your mate, not to be selfish at all times.

Only people who are immatured, who is selfish and egoistic and who has no nerve to hold their commitments and responsibilities afraid and doesn't believe marriage and its benefits. And you are among one of them.

I disagree, you get a lot our of marriage with the right person, with the wrong person it can be hell on Earth for both people involved, but with the right person you get love (it's a proved fact that humans need love to thrive ) which means you'll be more successful, happier and more content, a chance to carry on your gene pool in a secure environment, companionship, and a healthy, safe, clean person to have sex with rather than running the risk of picking up something nasty from a skank.

No benefits? What are you talking about? Having been married for 35 years I strongly disagree. OK so living with someone is almost the same, but being married shows everyone that you are committed to each other, and to me that is important.

Many men feel they benefit from marriage because they have found someone they wish to spend the rest of their life with, rather than being alone or continuing the dating game. Men desire commitment, a stable family, closeness, and love that come with marriage. Plus statistics show that married men are more successful, earn more, and live longer than single men.

Where did that come from? The benefit is happiness, longevity, companionship, friendship, families. Being married to the right person is the best.

Why don't you speak for yourself? We can not help that whatever type of woman you was currently with, decided to come to their senses and leave you. Maybe she found out you had LOW INTELLIGENCE. You think?

Men get lots of benefits when they marry. They get a free cook, housekeeper, bed warmer. My guy doesn't complain, he laps it up like a cat.
