No. Its very inefficient too.

If you want to leave the door cracked after you bake something after the ovens been turned off thats a different story. We do that all the time during the winter. It just helps keep the kitchen warm.

Using the oven just for heat is asking for trouble.

It is not a good idea to use any oven as a heat source. It can overheat and cause a fire.

If this is your last resort you can do it as long as the oven is electric. A gas oven can cause a build up of CO which will kill you.

Your oven isn't made for this, it could be dangerous. In an extreme emergency I would, like an ice storm and the power is out with no other options to keep warm. On the other hand, I would stay in the area and watch it closely.

I use my electric oven to heat the house some of the time.

I would not use an unvented natural gas or LPG fired oven to heat the house. An unvented gas oven is acceptable, as it burns only part of the time during baking. I would worry about fumes (CO) if it were burning continuously.

Not safe, not efficient, all around not a good idea. You'd be better off getting a space heater.
