I don't have a favorite type of tree. My favorite tree is the one that has been decorated with all the ornaments that my family and I have made. Especially the ornaments from when my children were small. Lights or no lights it's the memories from all the ornaments that mean a lot to me.

I have so many ideas and can't seem to focus on just one idea. Being a multi-media artist is tough. I will probably give away some of my clay pieces that I created at the Art School I attended in September, October and November, otherwise, I will paint some small pictures and frame them. I also use oil pastels and will include something unique to that person in the picture. Dried flowers are also a great way to make a picture. Use oils for the paint with a fast drying medium then add real dried flowers to the picture with by gluing with the drying medium. Wow, I better get started. Thanks Darty.

I LOVE white tress made of plastic (I don't see the sense of killing a tree just because it makes a nice decoration).

I would have it trimmed with very small yellow lights that doesn't blink, layer it with blinking red and green lights, and couple of red and green tassels wrapped around in crisscross and ribbon pattern.

Some small decorative balls, angels, cards, and figurines on the end would make it interesting and lively.

Plenty of presents on the feet of the tree waiting for Christmas morning to light everyone's smile.

And finally the coup-de-grace (did i get the spelling right?), a star on top of the tree. ^_^

A spruce or fir. Real, freshly cut by either my hand or my fathers. Though this years I'm going with a potted Norfolk Island Pine. Not quite as nice, but hopefully it will still be alive next year and can be used again.

If I must go with an artificial, it's gotta be green and resemble a spruce or fir.

Tall, full, deep green, with all white lights, red "apple" ornaments, and gold filagree ribbon wrapped from top to bottom. Merry Christmas!
