Both the Israeli's and the Palestinians claim a section of land on the Mediteranean sea. The Jewish claim that God gave them this land as he gave it to the descendants of Abraham, which they are. However, the Jews have long been exiled from this land and for centuries the Palestinians lived there instead. After WWII the west felt obliged to give the victimized Jews a homeland where they would not face the prosecution they received throughout their history and so land was taken from the Palestinians and given to the Jews because the Jews claimed it as their home (especially the Zionists). The UN tried to solve the situation many times, but to no avail.

.Even at the time of Christ,there was no place on earth called Israel.The land was called Palestine. ln 1948 the UN gave the jews a piece of Palestine as thier land(Israel)with Tel Aviv as it's capital. Since that time Israel has invaded and taken land from everyone of her neighbours And now says Jerusalem is her capital.Now Israel is building a wall on arab land to keep out the Suicide Bombers

The Palestinians say that the land belongs to them because they used to live there, and the Israelis say that it belongs to them because they used to live there.

The only Palestinians who used to live in what is now Israel are over 60 years old by now. So most of the ones who want to re-possess Israel have never lived there themselves, which makes their argument pretty weak, and their violence against Israel completely inexcusable.
