I live in the Midwest, so University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Do you think that's possible?

If not, are there any other places I can go where I can get into a medical school after college is complete?

Well, based on your ACT i'd say you would be a shoe-in, but a 3.0 is probably on the lower end for a moderately selective university like U of I. I wish you the best of luck, and I imagine that the admissions counselors will see that even though you might not have applied yourself as much as you could have in high school, you are obviously intelligent enough to handle things there.

nicely of course those are not Ivy League numbers, yet you may surely get right into a State college as adversarial to a community/Junior college. some even with the incontrovertible fact that, are extra good to get into than others. to grant you a concept, the avg. GPA to get into Florida State college is around a three.6. places like West Florida, college of Tampa, and USF could be obtainable to you. save finding and word to all which you will. good success.

UIUC doesn't truly have a college of medicine. The college of medicine there is a branch campus of UIC. Those students are considered students of UIC. You have a low GPA, but the high ACT might make up for it.
The other public college of medicine in Illinois is at SIU at Edwardsville.
