My b/f is a HUGE Kurt Cobain fan and I know he'd love to go to Kurt Cobain's home city, Aberdeen WA. Can anyone tell me the closest air port to Aberdeen, or just a list of ones in WA. I've been on Expedia forever and I've been using mapquest to try to plot out the closest places, but I'm having tons of trouble....HELP PLEASE!

Car rentals...anyone know anything? Can you rent cars if you're 19 and cheapest....I live In South Carolina...So driving TO WA is not possible, so I plan for us to fly...only the closest airport seems to be SEA, which is almost 2 hours drive from where we'd like to visit...any suggestions? Feel free to send websites or anything...

Seattle is the airport you are looking for. There aren't really other alternatives west of there that will work for you.

Try looking at this site for rental companies willing to rent to "under age" drivers. Be prepared to pay additional "under age" fees.

And you might try rent a wreck - they might allow rentals by younger people also:

Seatac is going to be the only airport you'd probably want to fly into to be close enough. Seatac = SEA. From there, car rentals are typically 25+, but there are a few that will just charge more to people who are under 25 and still rent. I can't remember a specific as I haven't rented a car in quite some time, but maybe Advantage if I remember correctly? There are a lot of different companies to rent from in Seatac and some outside of the area, such as downtown (Seattle).

Seattle is the closest major airport, although there may be some smaller private airports nearby.
