No. You're born with a specific hand which contains all that you are to start with : your talents, your good and your flaws, etc.
It's up to you to learn about who you are and develop on that. You can't change who you are and you're born just fine. But you can get better or worse, your choice. Learn about the choices you've made in the past and how they led you to where you are today. Whatever you choose to do with your life, you got to take full responsibility for it. Hopes this helps. Sometimes, if your dad had anger management problems chances are that you could get them too. But if you are sad because a girl dumped you, this obvously has nothing to do with your parents.
