Should femininits be banned from the GS forum, should we just let normal women on here? Feminsts rarely address questions, they try to dodge them, they prefer just to hurl insults and abuse at normal women and at masculists and men's rights supporters.

[johnny] You surprise me. You don't know what 'normal' is? Normal people know that normal is normal is normal.

It's the craziest thing I ever saw. I was a member of Websleuths - and had no clue what was going on. All the sudden, they go down for awhile with the note "Taking out the trash" - then when they're back up, there's a message from the owner that posters at another forum were planning a hack attack, and they were banned, along with every member of that forum. The list of names was impossible to credit - long time posters good posters, and some of the nicest people I know. On a thread discussing it - I ask a few questions - not hostile - just - what is the evidence? We're told we can't know the evidence, can't go to the other forum to view it without being banned, must choose here or there, people start frantically deleting those banned from their "Friends" lists out of fear of another random banning. That night - I'm banned, along with another poster in the thread who was asking questions. Which is as well. No forum tells me who I can and cannot be friends with, where I can and cannot go online, and especially on a forum dedicated to sleuthing, I never accept hearing one side of the story, or believing accusations against good people with no proof given. More refugees are trickling into that other forum all the time, and the whole topic is forbidden over there - making a post asking a question or saying you don't believe it is a sure route to being banned, and the post is deleted, often in 5 minutes.

Do I detect a straw man argument re freedom of speech?
I don't have a big problem with trolls or disruptive feminists. I'd rather they grew up and had a proper conversation, but that's life on the internet. I would rather they had a chance to have their say than they were deprived of freedom of expression. People often just go through a phase of venting spleen but then one day get over it and just get on with their lives. Maybe one day this will happen to all of us who post on G&WS ; )

No. Freedom of speech is allowed in most free countries of the world, so yes they are allowed to voice their opinions. Just like (almost unfortunately) you. There is no 'normal' women. Feminists have normal sides, anti-feminists have normal sides. There is no such thing as normal as everyone is DIFFERENT!

I don't care whether or not, as is rumored, that this forum is for the benefit of the feminists. On the whole they're no better than the rest of us; meaning there are times when their crap stinks to high heaven, even worse than the so-called trolls. As a matter of fact, in most/some cases, us, the outsiders are better, with a few flaws here and there, at paying attention to a post, thus giving it our best shot.

Nice try, but you're not going to win that easily (or at all).
If you can find more than three examples of feminists who do this, I'll give you a Best Answer at some point in the future.

The original name of this forum was "Women's Studies". The heading was changed so that everyone would feel welcome, regardless of gender, political opinions or veiws.

If you truly feel that your paradigms are too feeble to bear the rigors of free thought, or, if you require such an unfair advantage in a discussion as to ban those whom you disagree with, or, if you lack appropriate social skills such as tolerance and good sportsmanship, or, if you are unable to participate in a community without overwhelming neurotic urges to control it, perhaps you should consider less challenging and more security-based environments, such as a nursery. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen, or so men are quick to tell women in business and politics.
