if you can handle eating more- i always have a huge bowl of apple sauce. the problem is that when you have to go, you have to go. it might be a little late in your case. i would try it.... and in the future eat apples and apple sauce

Eat Fiber One every morning. Also eat cherries. The ex-lax only makes you dependent and stop your intestines from doing their job. Cut out meat for at least 2 weeks and double up on salads. I know how you feel. I went to have colonics and the like and they told me that no one had ever been as blocked up as me and it did little to help me.

I stumbled on Fiber One while visiting a friend in New York. That's all she had. It looks like sticks but I'm telling you that I've never felt better. Up your water intake and walk for exercise. With Fiber One I had a movement in one day. The first was painful because I was messed up but then I became regular. The vicodin is slowing your system but your diet and lack of fiber is really causing the problem.

I wish you the best. It's gross but you are not alone.

Get some cascara sagrada at a health food store.

Drink prune juice.

You could also try www.colonblow.com

If you need a serious solution, look up Dr Richard Schulze on the net and look for his colon formulas.

You should see a doctor. I thought I was constipated and was taking laxatives, come to find out I have diverticulitis. Actually more common than what most think.

Try adding more fibre to your diet. This will make your stools more solid.
