girls are now soaking tampons in vodka and inserting them into their vagina and getting drunk. no one can smell the vodka and they seem to get drunk quicker, because it enters their blood stream faster. i cant understand why in the world kids would go to this extreme to drink. how would you feel if your kid did this?

i'm underaged but i don't plan on trying that anytime soon!
"Although some gynecologists doubt it has achieved the status of a trend--no hard research data exists to support the idea of one--many agree that it can be an efficient way to get drunk fast. “Yes, alcohol and other substances can be absorbed from the thin and vascular mucosa of vagina and rectum,” said Dr. Sorosh Roshan, a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who maintained a private practice for more than thirty years in Summit, New Jersey and who is currently President of the International Health Awareness Network.
“It’s also true that the effect is faster than drinking, because the substance immediately enters the circulation by fast absorption into the vascular mucosa, not through stomach and dilution with gastric fluids,” Roshan added.
Although tampons are designed to retain liquids, they’re also used to deliver medications in the vagina, particularly among patients with vaginal infections or patients who may develop cancerous cells in the uterus.
“Tampons, as any other material has only a certain level of absorbency and when that level of absorbency is saturated, the excess substance in it will be released and absorbed by the surrounding tissue,” said Andrea Villegas, a patient being treated by gynecologist Mario Chaparro, in New York City, with tampons soaked in Aldara, a medication used to treat skin cells that can become cancerous, among other illnesses.
The use of tampons soaked in vodka to become intoxicated appears to have been out in the open for at least three years and it has been spreading quickly throughout Europe and the United States"

That's an excellant topic u hit on, but to be honest I never heard of the tampon route, I only know that at an early stage for an unexperienced youth to consume more than they can handle, which they R oblivious of, can result in "Blood Alcohol Poisening!" Thanks 4 sharing the latest on this. I only wish Parents cud be aware of this & the aftermath it cud cause. How in God's name can we spread the word??? lol If U think of 1 plse let me know for Canada too! OK? This Must Stop!

Another example of how the underage laws should be banished, because they don't work and it causes kids to experiment with more lethal experiments....just imagine what the first girl who tried this was thinking!

It is crazy, but it really would work to get drunk faster. I saw a tv show where if you put alcohal in your anus it also absorbs faster to get you drunk quicker

Haven't heard that, but I don't believe that's possible. When you drink something, it goes through your digestive tract. Sticking something up your vagina, it doesn't go anywhere. Besides, it would be very difficult to get something up in your vagina that was already saturated with something. That's what those plastic or cardboard applicators are for in the first place.
