clothes interspersed everywhere, kitchen utensils are lying, cupboards are total mess, bed in never in good shape. all kind of stuff lying here and there. i keep cleaning it and my wife and kid keep spoiling it again.
i have told my dumb wife so many times , but it seems she has a very thick skin and i lack a clean environment in my room . It is all leading me to depression. i m not a cleaniness maniac but atleast the environment should be good in the room.
She has all the infrastructure to keep stuff but she is lackadascial and lathargic.
i m tired, what should i do

i know how you feel. im not a clean freak, but i really do enjoy a well maintained house.
it probably has something to do feng shui. im not an expert on it, but i know that even clutter and mess in a house can make one feel uncomfortable. i guess some people are just immune to these types of things.
i know i have to constantly clean up after my b/f when hes over. thank god he doesnt live here. ha.
close cupboards, close the microwave door, turn off lights. put food away that he left out................
anyways, i havent figured out how to get him to clean up after himself.
i tried to explain that it makes it easier for me if he could help clean up after himself and that it would make me happy and he has gotten slightly better. instead of leaving the sheets of the bed on the floor, he sort of threw them on the bed in almost the right way...its a start. ha.
so good luck!

Gosh, how many ways can a man put down his wife? In another question today you declare her lazy and selfish, a spendthrift, and a wastrel.
If you can't stand her, be man enough to stand up for yourself. You have to own the fact that YOU chose to marry this woman, and have a child. Now you have to make the best of the situation, and whining on here is not going to help.
What do you want us to say? Just leave her? Ever thought what your contribution to the situation might be?
With kitchen utensils and clothes, etc, are you three living in one room? How can you keep it tidy with three people including a baby/toddler in one room?

Start sleeping on the couch. When she asks why you are doing that explain that you refuse to sleep in a room that looks like that. If she misses you by her side she will clean the room. If not it will start a fight and you will know how much of a priority you really are to her.

its so difficult if u dating or married to a untidy person LOL
i would go insane and I'm also not a clean maniac.
maybe u should start looking at ur options, like getting a nanny, or taking them to daycare then getting a cleaning lady..and ur wife a job that will get her out of the house

stop cleaning it, maybe she will? I have no clue. My boyfriend is the same way! Or maybe work out something w/ her... if you start the dishes she needs to finish... or you'll do the kids' laundry if she'll do the adults. You gotta start slow. Maybe she'll catch on.. lol. Good luck. So far I've got none! lol.

Pick up everything that is "Hers", take it to another room and dump it all in a pile. Next day, do it again. She will figure it out.
