Hello,
My absolute favorite fragrant rose is 'Perfume Delight'
It's a lovely hybrid tea rose with medium pink double blooms. The fragrance is a sweet and spicy and quite intoxicating.
I also love 'La France'. Some rose experts consider 'La France' to be the most fragrant rose in the world. The fagrance is a strong old rose fragrance.

hard to say I have double delight, monet (which I can smell some distance away it smells kind of typical rose smell it is a floribunda) the prince (austin rose) which smells like demask but not so strong as to smell across the yard. my monet is the only one you can smell some distance, my double delight I can smell when within three feet of it.

I have several types of roses and need to be careful to not have to many strong smelling roses as their smells might overlap and clash. I have a few other roses, not sure of names, one I think it white dawn, it smells are faint, a red one that might just be don juan it is faint also. the rest have no smell, the pinata a floribunda climber has some smell though you have to be right up to the rose to smell it.,

the rest no smell, I plan on more roses in the spring, once I achieve about 20 more I will be done, this time I plan on multicolor stripped roses and a few more austin.

RRRR

My favorite for fragrance is the floribunda "Angel Face". I'm not sure how to describe it...maybe Citrus, regardless of my inability to describe it, the scent is intoxicating. You don't even to bend over to smell this rose, you just stand in the vicinity.
